In this message, we’re reminded that the Christian life begins where pride dies — at the place of desperation. Like Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” True blessing flows from realizing how spiritually poor we really are, mourning the weight of our sin, becoming lowly before a holy God, and hungering and thirsting for His righteousness. Every Beatitude is born out of this holy desperation — a longing for Christ that cannot be satisfied by the world. When we are desperate for Him, He fills the empty, comforts the broken, and satisfies the hungry soul.
