Matthew 5:14-16

What if the greatest purpose of the gospel is not merely our salvation—but the glory of our Father in heaven? Jesus declares that He is the Light of the world, shining into humanity’s darkness to reveal the heart of the Father. In Matthew 5:14–16, Jesus goes further, calling His people to reflect that same light so the world may see our faithfulness and glorify our Father. But Scripture also warns that when God’s people live unfaithfully, His name is blasphemed among the nations. This message explores what it means to live as true light in a dark world, why our faithfulness matters, and how Christ’s mission to reveal the Father continues through His church today.
